I just joined this site, so writing to introduce myself. I am a 31-year old totally blind lady from Macedonia working as an English teacher. If you wish yto find out more about me, feel free to read my profile. Unfortunately, the settings on this site prevent Americans to message people abroad and otherwise, unless they change them and I hope the webmasters take this into account, because many people are not aware of it. Our disability is enough and the prospect of meeting people that would accept us within limits is not large anyway, so let us communicate to each other freely! Just a reminder to everyone about email settings.

The default contact (ie. Email, Mini-Message, Gift, etc.) settings for members in the U.S. and in Canada PREVENT members outside those Countries from contacting members within those Countries.

IF members within the U.S. and Canada would like to be contacted by members outside the U.S. and Canada, they need to update their contact settings in the BLOCK MANAGEMENT area, linked within the My Account area.

Keep in mind that:

1) Most people choose contact with others in their general geographical location, so the default contact settings are rarely an issue for members within the U.S. and Canada... because, again, most people choose to only be in contact with people relatively close.

2) The default contact settiings were put in place to prevent spammers and scammers from targeting members within the U.S. and Canada.

3) The default contact settings can be changed on a Country by Country basis...so if members in the U.S. and Canada are interested in contact from other members within specific Countries, they can easily modify their contact settings appropriately.

I can not change those settings. I see a message that says "CLICK HERE TO EDIT YOUR COUNTRY LEVEL BLOCKING SETTINGS" But when ever I try clicking on it; nothing loads. It's like that on FireFox & IE. I use another site on passions & I cant change that one either.
